Louise Mackenzie Louise is an artist filmmaker and curator, with over a decade in experience in consulting and project management. As founder of interdisciplinary pop-up cinema Black Box, and co-creator of Loose Connections, online filmmaking for the technologically challenged, she is passionate about extending film to new audiences. A member of the Cultural Negotiation of Science research group, Northumbria University, she holds a PhD in Fine Art from BxNU Institute of Contemporary Art. Exhibiting nationally and internationally, Louise's work explores material connections with scientific culture, including Lively Material, Zone of Inhibition and The Stars Beneath our Feet.
