BFI Film Academy Edinburgh and South East Scotland 2021-22

We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications to our BFI Film Academy Edinburgh and South East of Scotland programme for 2021-22.

The course takes place from 7th October 2021 until Sunday 9th January 2022 and is open to young people in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Borders, Clackmannanshire, Fife, Falkirk and Stirlingshire with a passion for film, no matter their background or previous experience.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
