Call for Trustees – Screen Education Edinburgh

Screen Education Edinburgh (SEE) is Scotland's oldest filmmaking organisation, a registered charity dedicated to making film training accessible for all.

Over the past four decades Screen Education Edinburgh has nurtured new and undiscovered talent towards film study and industry entry, with specific expertise in developing people from areas of deprivation, low income backgrounds and underrepresented communities.

We’re in the process of refreshing our strategy and seeking to recruit additional Trustees to our Board, including those with skills or experience in the following areas:

  • Film and television production
  • Marketing, PR and communications
  • Finance and accounting
  • Community development

Board meetings are held quarterly in Edinburgh, but will take place remotely for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19.  Travel expenses will be reimbursed where these are reasonable and in line with our expenses policy.

SEE is an inclusive organisation and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. It is important to us that our Board is representative of the communities in which we work and we warmly encourage candidates to apply who can help us to achieve this aim.

If you would like to apply please send an up to date CV and covering letter to Julianne Reddin, Chair of Screen Education Edinburgh at [email protected]

Closing Date: 16th August 2020
