Esme Haddrill Selman

Holding a First Class degree in BA (Hons) Film & Television from Edinburgh College of Art, Esme has worked with the likes of Edinburgh International Film Festival, Glasgow Short Film Festival, Sheffield DocFest and Aya Films, in a range of roles from programmer to juror. She is currently helping to develop the SEE archive in order to preserve the charity’s history and make it an accessible resource.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.

Screen Progression Programme

The Screen Progression Programme is a national initiative managed by Screen Education Edinburgh and funded by Screen Scotland that provides access to high quality vocational development in Film and TV skills. For those aged 16 and over with no upper age limit.
