Applications open for SEE Young Filmmakers Hub

Are you interested in making films? Aged 12-18? Apply to the SEE Young Filmmakers Hub now!

We are now accepting new applications for the SEE Young Filmmakers Hub, a relaxed and inclusive environment where you can develop your filmmaking skills at your own pace.

Supported by the Sean Connery Foundation, the Hub offers practical training in various filmmaking roles, including sound and lighting design, cinematography, directing and more.

From cinema trips to workshops and masterclasses with industry guests, you'll make films and explore your creativity without exams or homework - all of the fun with none of the stress!

The course is completely free, and no previous experience is necessary to apply.

Applications close 5pm Monday 22nd of January 2024.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
