Laura Findlay

As Project Manager at SEE, Laura oversees our Set the Scene programme and the Edinburgh and Lothians Schools Film Competition. Previously, Laura worked as a lecturer in English and Film Studies at the University of Dundee, as well as an independent researcher and writer, and Project Coordintaor for Sistema Scotland. From Dundee University Laura holds an MA (Hons) English, MLitt in Writing Culture and PhD in Traumatic Expression in Sound, Word, and Image.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now open!
