Wendy Griffin

Wendy has extensive experience as a film and TV line producer, including films from Andrea Arnold, David Mackenzie, Annie Griffin, Paddy Considine and Scott Graham. As a film producer she has overseen films such as improvised feature Wasted with Raindog, indie rom-com Not Another Happy Ending with Synchronicity Films, music documentary and EIFF audience winner Big Gold Dream, and EIFF first feature winner and Netflix hit Calibre. First engaging with our org in the 90's overseeing short film scheme production, Wendy is passionate about working with diverse voices and new talent, particularly female, both in front of and behind the camera and is a strong advocate for grass roots training within the industry.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
