Edinburgh Shorts Showcase Unveils an Exciting Lineup of Films for June 22nd

We are excited to announce the lineup for our next Edinburgh Shorts Showcase, a quarterly celebration of short films by local talent co-hosted by SEE & 48 Hour Film Project. Showcasing a diverse range of genres, this quarter's event is set to captivate audiences with its curated selection of thought-provoking and visually stunning films.

The Edinburgh Shorts Showcase, known for its commitment to promoting emerging filmmakers and celebrating the art of short-form filmmaking, will take place at the Cameo, renowned for its intimate and immersive cinema experience.

Here are the captivating films that will be showcased on June 22nd:

- The New Normal by Binc (created as part of the 48 Hour Film Project Edinburgh 2023)

- Flitter by Grant Deans (created as part of the 48 Hour Film Project Edinburgh 2023)

- Moving Out Through Stars by Holly Summerson on behalf of The Edwin Morgan Trust

- Mark of the Beast by Missy McNaught

- Dig by Gary J Hewit

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
