SEE WELCOMES THREE NEW FILM TUTORS

Screen Education Edinburgh (SEE) is delighted to welcome three new film tutors to our ongoing educational programmes.

Film Tutors Juulia Kalavainen and Mark Edwards will be working on the BFI Film Academy Edinburgh Short Course, while Assistant Film Tutor Rachel McKinlay will work with learners on the SEE Young Filmmakers Hub.

We are grateful to have Juulia, Mark and Rachel joining us as we continue our mission to make filmmaking accessible to all!

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.

The Screen Progression Programme is a national initiative managed by Screen Education Edinburgh and funded by Screen Scotland that provides access to high quality vocational development in Film and TV skills. For those aged 16 and over with no upper age limit.
