ECFEP secondary school films celebrated online

We celebrated the work from the Edinburgh City Film Education Programme this weekend via live online showcases.

The events kicked off on Friday 4^th December with an overview of work from Primary and Special Schools, with our second live event Sunday 6^th December focused on films by Secondary School learners made as part of the Your Take and Our Edinburgh programmes.

The event also included kind words from teachers and partners that took part in Our Edinburgh, as well as acceptance speeches from young people who had won special mentions awards as part of the online filmmaking programme, Your Take, delivered during lockdown.

It was a great way to round off the year and the team were delighted to be able to celebrate with all of the learners, teachers, and families watching at home.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
