BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2024 course are now open!

BFI Film Academy Scotland Short Course Programme 2024-25

The BFI Film Academy Scotland Short Course Programme 2024-25 has courses for 16 to 19 year olds taking place in Edinburgh at Screen Education Edinburgh, in Ayrshire at Ayrshire Film Co, in the Scottish Highlands at Eden Court Highlands, in Glasgow at GMAC Film, and in Aberdeen at Station House Media Unit. Applications for BFI Short Course are now open!
Screen Progression Programme

The Screen Progression Programme is a national initiative managed by Screen Education Edinburgh and funded by Screen Scotland that provides access to high quality vocational development in Film and TV skills. For those aged 16 and over with no upper age limit.
