Edinburgh Shorts Showcase - 7th December 2023

Screen Education Edinburgh and the 48 Hour Film Project have partnered together to present the next Edinburgh Shorts Showcase, a night of incredible short films made in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Screening at the iconic Cameo Picturehouse, the Showcase gives a platform to emerging filmmakers, showcasing the incredible diversity and breadth of talent within our local film scene.

All films will be captioned and a BSL interpreter will be present.

We hope to see you there at this amazing celebration of local filmmaking!

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
