This will be the fourth edition of the North Edinburgh Film Festival and will take place between 27th and 28th of March 2026.

Presented in collaboration with North Edinburgh Arts, the festival celebrates community cinema and filmmaking in North Edinburgh. The programme is shaped collaboratively with local residents, artists, and film enthusiasts, reflecting the creativity and voices of the community itself.

Hosted in the North Edinburgh Arts building for the first time, this year’s festival explores the themes of community and place through a diverse programme of over 40 films. Alongside screenings, audiences can enjoy film installations, creative workshops for all ages, and a range of special events. With plenty of opportunities to meet and connect with fellow residents, the festival promises something for everyone.
