Edinburgh and Lothians Schools Film Competition 2021 Winners Announced

This year’s Edinburgh and Lothians Schools Film Competition took place on Friday the 22^nd August, screening as part of EIFF Youth’s online programme we saw a great variety of work demonstrating the talent and enthusiasm our schools have for filmmaking!

SEE holds BFI Short Course Celebratory Screening at Leith Theatre!

On Saturday the 27th of January, Leith Theatre rolled out its red carpet for an unforgettable celebration of the latest cohort from the BFI Film Academy Edinburgh and Southeast Scotland Short Course.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
