Edinburgh Shorts Showcase

Join us on Wednesday the 21st of September at 7pm to celebrate some of the newest short films made in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Shorts Showcase. The screening will be held at the Cameo Picturehouse where there will be a variety of short films supported by either Screen Education Edinburgh, Short Circuit and 48 Hour Film Project.

After the screening, there will be networking drinks in the Cameo bar and everyone is encouraged to stay and connect with other filmmakers in Scotland in a relaxed environment. There will also be representatives from all host organisations to chat about current and upcoming opportunities.

In order to make the event more accessible to those on a low income, tickets are available on a sliding scale. Tickets are available at free, £3 & £5. Please choose how much you can pay based on your circumstances. - there is no proof required.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
