This month, we hosted two more Inspire Film & TV Sessions at Craigmount and Drummond High Schools.

At Craigmount, editor Iain Miller delivered an engaging and interactive workshop on the history of editing, sharing his journey in the industry and showcasing some of his own work. He also explored the variety of roles within post-production and led a live demonstration, where learners used iPads with rushes to follow along and experiment with editing themselves.

At Drummond High School, Sinead Kirwan led a session on producing, where she explained the process of setting up her own production company, outlined the role of a producer, and guided learners through an interactive activity that allowed them to try out producing different scenarios.

The feedback from both sessions was extremely positive, and we’re excited to continue welcoming more industry professionals to share their insights with schools across Edinburgh.
