Submissions are now open for the upcoming Edinburgh Short Showcase, presented in collaboration with the 48 Hour Film Project. The event will take place on 30th October at The Cameo cinema, offering a platform for emerging filmmakers across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Alongside selected films from this year’s 48 Hour Film Project, the showcase will feature short films by local talent, with a special focus on the horror, supernatural, and unsettling in celebration of the Halloween season.

The screening is a public, ticketed event, with captions, BSL interpretation, and a post-screening networking session in the bar.

Filmmakers are invited to submit their short films by Tuesday 21st October at 5pm.
