The BFI Film Academy Scotland Short Course Programme 2024-25 has courses for 16 to 19 year olds taking place in Edinburgh at Screen Education Edinburgh, in Ayrshire at Ayrshire Film Co, in the Scottish Highlands at Eden Court Highlands, in Glasgow at GMAC Film, and in Aberdeen at Station House Media Unit. Our mission

Screen Education Edinburgh (SEE) is dedicated to filmmaking for all, teaching high-quality learning, training, and production programmes that develop screen opportunities for people of all ages across education, community, and talent and skills development.
Screen Progression Programme

The Screen Progression Programme is a national initiative managed by Screen Education Edinburgh and funded by Screen Scotland that provides access to high quality vocational development in Film and TV skills. For those aged 16 and over with no upper age limit.
Set the Scene: Development of Teachers and Pupils in Filmmaking

Set the Scene is a free programme designed to develop and strengthen the filmmaking knowledge, skills, and practice of teachers and pupils in schools across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
