Edinburgh Schools HETV Inspire Sessions Begin October 2023!

Screen Education Edinburgh is proud to partner with Film Edinburgh (City of Edinburgh Council, Culture Service), HETV Skills Fund at ScreenSkills, and Arts & Creative Learning (City of Edinburgh Council, Children, Education and Justice Services) to deliver the Edinburgh Schools HETV Inspire Sessions.

Taking place from October 2023 – February 2024, these workshops are designed to inspire S4-6 pupils to consider careers in High-End TV Drama production. Featuring insight from industry professionals working in a diverse range of roles, young people will be empowered to consider the many opportunities suited to their skillset within the fast-growing screen industries.

BFI Film Academy Craft Skills

On our BFI Film Academy Craft Skills Residential course, learners receive intensive learning in screenwriting, cinematography, sound, directing, production and editing, engage in industry masterclasses, and produce a short film. Applications for the summer 2023 course are now closed.
